Guys, I must say, that was one of the best articles I've ever read online. Chock full of juicy tidbits, and easily digestible to boot. Will you guys make my lunch for me each morning?
Now we're just waiting for the announcement of MightyMock... :-p
@Grasshopper (or any others), re:MightyMock, Please ping us offline ( theguys at mxunit dot org ). We are in search of mockists to help define the product specs. It's pre-alpha but largely working. Features to included easy mocking, stubbing, and spying, and, hopefully, will be rolled up into the next-gen mxunit.
bill
thanks for the kind words, Bob!
Grasshopper and billy... I'm looking forward to MightyMock, too. So far, with what I'm seeing, the syntax is clean and the "partial mock" stuff is exactly what I'm looking for in a mock framework.
What I'm proud of with MightyMock... well, proud of bill for... is that it's kind of a culmination of the things we've been talking about over the past year regarding how to make testing hard stuff easier. InjectMethod was a good first start, but it was always a stop-gap. MM is where we needed to get to. It's not derivative; it's not a port of some other mock framework from another language. It's decidedly CF-ish, in my opinion.
Gitterdone, billy!
