"Not all good programmers practice unit testing or TDD, but all who follow a test driven development approach are good programmers."

Who made the comment? My guess would be that it is probably not true. I'm sure I could write some really testable garbage.
I would say that it would help one to be a better programmer, but since writing programs is about functionality, not testability, I'd say that TDD can't be a standalone deciding factor :)
